ADDITIONAL NOTE: The day after I launched the video, I discovered my “automated” delivery system required manual intervention to work. Patricia Tallman, who played Lyta Alexander, and Jason Davis, author of The Babylon 5 Encyclopedia, watch and comment on the Babylon 5 episode “Moments of Transition” (414). Tallman provides memories from the shoot in early 1997 and retrospective thoughts on the work while Davis offers production trivia and historical details. This commentary video was produced to support the Babylon 5 Preservation Project, a 2019 Kickstarter that will soon culminate with the publication of a thorough written history of Babylon 5, based on 270 new interviews, thousands of pages of production documentation and earlier interviews, and over a decade of research.
The “Moments of Transition” episode of Babylon 5 is not included due to rights issues. It is recommended that you cue up the Blu-ray and watch our commentary on a second screen, a tablet or telephone. Please note that the Blu-ray contains a five-second bumper between acts one and two that is not on the DVD.
